Teammedia is among the pioneers of digital photography. As early as the mid-1990s, we were already working digitally. We specialize in technical photography, particularly in reproduction techniques. This involves reproducing images, paintings, or engravings — capturing them with absolute accuracy. Great attention is given to precise color and contrast reproduction.
To achieve this, we use specialized repro cameras and artificial lighting carefully adapted to each situation. This allows us to capture many images in a short amount of time without any loss of quality. Teammedia primarily uses reproduction techniques for galleries. One long-standing client is the Dobiaschofsky auction house in Bern. For their annual catalog, we photograph paintings, antiques, and jewelry.
Macro & Micro Photography
Another specialty is macro and micro photography. Micro photography is ideal for subjects that are barely visible to the naked eye, such as minerals. Thanks to sophisticated micro technology, we make even the smallest details of a crystal astonishingly clear. Macro photography is used when the camera is positioned extremely close to a subject — for example, a flower. This reveals details and structures that you would normally overlook. Teammedia is also happy to support you with technical reports and studio shoots.
Landscape & Aerial Photography
Take off with us! For landscape and object photography, teammedia takes to the skies. One way is the traditional method: board a rented helicopter and capture the desired shots — spectacular aerial images guaranteed. But there is also a faster and simpler option: using remote-controlled helicopters and drones. These aircraft, developed in-house by teammedia, move quietly through the air thanks to electric motors. They provide unique perspectives from heights of up to 150 meters, and can also get very close when needed. Compared to conventional aerial photography, they are more cost-effective and flexible — with no permits or rental costs required. We hold air supremacy. This is also appreciated by Transtec Gotthard, the consortium responsible for railway technology in the Gotthard Base Tunnel of the NEAT project. They always have an overview of their large construction sites at the tunnel portals — thanks to teammedia.
